Description

Lowell Observatory's sole trustee, Roger L. Putnam, sent this telegram in response to the plentiful requests for more information on the recently discovered planet. Lowell Observatory received hundreds of letters and telegrams following the announcement that the observatory had discovered Percival Lowell's predicted Planet X. One of the most frequent requests was for scientific data, including the planet's orbit, which is reflected in Putnam's telegram.
