Title

Edwin Hubble to V. M. Slipher, November 2, 1928, on results of observing station trip

Subject

Hubble, Edwin
Slipher, V. M.
Astronomy
Star clusters

Description

Hubble describes how he had to finish up in Arizona unexpectedly but the best results were the observations from the Grand Canyon and Cameron, comparable to those Slipher sees in Flagstaff. He confirms the confidential stage of the project is over, meaning California Institute of Technology would gain a new telescope, leading to new goals for nebular surveys and Hubble submitting memorandums on ways and means of standardization.
